DogFX  PHILOSOPHY

 Every dog that comes through the DogFX doors will be treated as if they were one of our own precious fur children. Our mission is to make all dogs stand out in a crowd whether that is with our professional grooming service or by fitting your dog with the very latest in Doggie Designer Fashion.

 Every dog and owner will be treated with respect and great care, to ensure that they all receive the service that you need. Our role at DogFX is to assist every dog to love being groomed and to learn that its a time of pampering and lovable human contact, and to go home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. For those dogs that don't have a love of the bath we do our best to give them extra time, space and care in the hope that one day they too will learn to love the process!

It is our promise to the both of you and your dog is that every dog will be professionally groomed in a caring and peaceful environment which will encourage your pooch to love coming and be part of our DogFX family. 

Suzanne

Founder and co-owner of DogFX, Suzanne has brought the vision of a grooming salon with care and compassion to life. With a love of dogs and the many skills acquired from her childhood of showing dogs, she pursued her dream of working with animals opening DogFX at 22 years of age (much to the bewilderment of her bank!). This has proved to be a wonderful and satisfying decision as, after 10 years in, she still loves the business with an undying passion.   

Her own dogs, Zoe (a tri-colour Border Collie who is the co-receptionist at DogFX) and Chelsea (a little Bichon x Shihtzu who just sleeps all day . . . except for lunch time of course!) come to work every day to help other dogs relax (and entertain the staff).  

Tracy

Co-owner of DogFX, Tracy has an absolute love of all pooches! She sees the dogs as little people, chatting away to them throughout their hairdos making sure they just love coming for a day of cuddles! Coming from the pharmaceutical industry she has found the furry customers so much more fun! Her great love is the range of designer products we now have available. She searches the world for a fabulous array of fancy footwear, designer jackets, collars and leads. Her other interests are reading (lots of it!); walking; craft; and socialising. 

Tracy comes from a very different background, she was a registered general nurse begining her nursing career in the South Ausralian country town of Crystal Brook. She trained as an State Enrolled Nurse in the town she grew up in with her farming family. Once she qualified she travelled extensively  for a couple of years through England and Europe and on her return to Australia commenced her studies as a registered nurse at Flinders University.

Tracy then found herself as the state manager for a medical sales company then later on moving into pharmaceutical sales as a territory manager. It was during a trip to broken Hill NSW to visit doctors that she was envolved in a car accident and was unable to ever return to that profession......

Tracy will be the first to tell you that even though the entire experience was awful - the changes to her career, her lifestyle and her health - it led her to lead a very different life and becoming Suzannes business partner at DogFX is one of the highlights of her life. She is the first to say she has really found what she loves doing. She absolutely loves working with the dogs and seeking out and finding new and unique dog products.  The challenge and pleasure of searching the world for designer dog product is the greatest fun. Working everyday with all those furry four legged friends is undescribably pleasurable which reaches into the depths of her soul.
